We have a solid conviction that ministry is about building people rather than building organizations or personal kingdoms. This is part of the cohesion that binds the core values found in GTI. The essential ingredient of the love God has for people permeates every training program and outreach.

GOSPEL

The Good News of God's love that is demonstrated in Jesus life ministry and finished work is the foundation of every aspect of what we do. It is the same Gospel that Jesus preached and Paul preached. It is something that we are not ashamed of because it is this message that connects humanity with the power of God's love that is known as Grace.

UNLIMITED

We will use any and every means possible to deliver our message of good news. Media is a tool that is used to express God to others. Electronic, television, radio, and the printed page, and any other way possible can be, should be, and will be used to connect people with God's love.

TRAINING

Development and training of leaders for church and society. We believe that Christians should be responsible to influence wherever they are. Development and training does not happen by accident. It is our express purpose to raise the standard of society by developing leaders for life and ministry by making them whole through the love of God.

KINGDOM MINDED

The Kingdom of God is bigger than any one church or ministry. Because of this we are committed to reach beyond the limitation of any on group or denomination. It is not uncommon to find GTI involved economically, physically and ministerially in the lives of other organizations. The scriptures are clear- we are of one body, one Spirit, and one Lord.

INTERNATIONAL

International appeal and multi-cultural ministry and experience. We see God reaching every nation, tribe, and tongue. We are persuaded it is important for us to be consistent with this who-so-ever inclusion. We are open to all peoples from anywhere, this has resulted in a global sphere of our ministries reach. God loves all the people of the world.

Communicating and demonstrating God's love and value for people. God desires the best for every one in every way. Every ministry event is delivered with excellence, timing, punctuality, sharpness, accuracy, quality ad skill. God gave his best- how could we do any less? People are deserving of the best. ABOUT STEVE & CINDY SHOOP

Steve and Cindy Shoop have dedicated over three decades of their lives to missionary work internationally, sharing their faith in numerous countries around the world.

In 1985, Steve and Cindy moved from Ohio to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where they attended Rhema Bible Training Center and Victory World Missions Training Center. Following graduation, their commitment to mission work led them to Swaziland in 1988.

For twenty-five years, they lived on the continent of Africa, ministering in diverse roles of ministry and in various African nations including Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia, Malawi, and South Africa.

Ministry began with a two-year tenure serving as the Dean and registrar of Swaziland Bible Training Center. Following this Steve was appointed as Crusade Director for Evangelist Ed Elliott and Word of Life World Outreach. The next ten years were invested in the people of Africa by way of open-air evangelism and ministers’ conferences throughout the southern parts of Africa. After the Elliotts’ relocation to the United States, Steve continued to travel and teach in Southern Africa as well as serving as a part time faculty member of Rhema Bible Training Center (RSA) for three years. Steve and Cindy then and moved to Zambia where they established Gospel Training Institute. GTI operated for six years in advance of the opening of Rhema Bible Training Center Zambia in 2011. Steve and Cindy continued to serve RBTCZ as Dean of students and faculty with Cindy as registrar until relocating to the United States in January of 2013.

Currently residing in Greenville, Ohio with a fresh mandate and many years in foreign service Steve and Cindy continue to serve the Lord through Gospel Training International traveling the world teaching in Bible schools, ministers’ conferences, as well as ministry in local churches. This mandate to the four corners of the earth has touched multiple continents and many nations. The roots of their lives remain deep in Africa with a frequented return annually in the desire to fulfill God given destiny.

Steve and Cindy are committed to developing the next generation of ministers in the power and purpose of the gospel.

Thank you for your interest in financial partnership with Gospel Training International. We provide ministry around the world without charge. Most of the places we go could not afford to host us or pay for our expenses. Some places it would not be legal to do so even if it were possible. We always depended upon the Lord to meet the expenses that come with ministry. But the Lord depends upon people.

The generosity of the partnerships of individuals, churches, and organizations are what enable us to fulfill our calling and reach people with the message of God’s love.

Partnership takes on many forms, including prayer, practical help, and of course, financial gifts. Contributions go directly to enable us to train the next generation of spiritual leaders in Africa and around the World. Together we are reaching the four corners of the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
